About the set

About ST22 Ace & Newgate

ST22 is the Ace & Newgate starter deck. It came out in English on 5 September 2025, and its Leader is one card with two captains on it: Ace and Whitebeard together.

Every card in the deck is new (ST22-001 to ST22-017): Whitebeard Pirates like Marco, Jozu, Vista and Izo, allies like Squard and the Decalvan Brothers, and three Events. Izo and Kouzuki Oden are the two Super Rares.

Every box has the 51-card deck, 10 DON!! and one bonus pack with 3 cards. Those are new art versions of the deck's cards, drawn in black and white, with 14 to find in total.

A ready-to-play deck of 51 cards (1 Leader and 50 cards), 10 DON!! cards and one bonus pack with 3 cards (14 different ones to find).

Who is the ST22 Leader?

Ace & Newgate ST22-001, one Leader card with both of them on it. Once per turn you may reveal a Whitebeard Pirates card from your hand: you draw 1 card, and the revealed card goes on top of your deck.

How many new cards are in ST22?

All of them. The 17 cards in the deck (ST22-001 to ST22-017) are new, Leader included. The bonus pack adds new art versions of 14 of them.
