About ST08 Monkey.D.Luffy

ST08 is the black Monkey.D.Luffy starter deck. It came out in Japan on 25 March 2023, on the same day as the Yamato deck ST09, and in English on 11 August 2023. Those two were the first starter decks built around one character.

The Leader is Monkey.D.Luffy ST08-001. Every card in the box is new to ST08. Uta and Shanks are the two Super Rares, and around them are faces from Luffy's whole trip: Makino, Higuma and Garp, then Gaimon, Vivi, Laboon and Shirahoshi.

Black is about lowering costs and knocking things out. Every K.O. feeds Luffy a DON!!, so the more the board clears, the harder he hits. Every box has the 51-card deck and 10 DON!!.
